No more dry skin, dammit!!

I have to make more facial scrub tomorrow. I have dry skin and have been using the coffee scrub that I posted earlier. It works amazing! I also made a facial cleanser with brown sugar, honey and olive oil. I am going to make some more, but with less olive oil. I want it to be more grainy. I am going to try this mask tomorrow night. I have some avocados that need to be used.

Avocados and honey are particularly moisturizing. This mask is particularly great for mature, wrinkled and dry skin. It’s best to use a ripe, fresh, organic avocado. Make sure to mash it up into a creamy pulp.

Ingredients:

• ½ avocado
• ¼ cup honey

Preparation: A classic recipe for dry skin. Mash the avocado in a bowl, then stir in honey.
Apply to skin and leave for 10 minutes.
Rinse face with a cool washcloth.

Avocado tree nubbin'!!

The pit has sprouted something on the bottom of it. Finally! James told me to throw it out the other day because it is doing nothing. Ha! Your face is doing nothing! (Not really though, your face does a lot, smiles, talks(a lot), makes me laugh, see a lot!)
Anyways, hopefully it will grow a tree, already. I am getting sick of looking at it.
Okay, don't lose patience. Stay with it.
Bread is out of the oven!! I hope it is cooked. I put it back in the oven for an extra five minutes. I couldn't leave it in for any longer or else the top would have burned. I will keep you posted.

Grow an Avocado Tree!

I am trying to grow an Avocado Tree. Now, I have never done this before and so far nothing is happening. I think it needs more sun. Also you have to make sure it always has watching touching the bottom of the seed. It can't stay outside in the winter and it won't grow fruit for about 3 or 4 years. But I think it would be neat to have!
How to do it:
1. Cut up an Avocado, take out the pit. Wash the fruit off the pit under warm water, using your fingers. Dry with a paper towel.
2. Pierce the fattest part of the pit with toothpicks, I used bamboo kabob skewrs(sp?).
3. Fill up a container with water and place the pit on the top. You want the bottom to be in the water.
4. Place in a sunny area.
I will keep you posted. Hopefully it will sprout soon. It may take a couple of weeks.
